Read-Write-Review

Let me entertain you, no wait isn't that taken already. Reading and writing are my passion just ask the neglected family.

SPOILER ALERT!

Never Let Me Go

Never Let Me Go - Kazuo Ishiguro I really enjoyed this. It is conversational but due to the subject matter I found this worked.

We follow three main characters but the narrator is Kathy and as such we see her brainwashed view point which left me with so many questions.

It follows them through there reasonably short left as they are what can only be described as bred so others can have their organs whether for transplant or research. It is only near the end that they admit their love for each other and attempt to do something about the donations of their organs however when they find they can do nothing about it they just accept this and go through the motions of donations anyway.

If this book has been written to get the readers to ask questions on the ethics of such genetic experimentation then it did it's job as I ended this asking WHY?
